First we see Skype suggest to use another phone such as iPhone or Android to enjoy their services and now it looks like Seesmic is doing the same thing.  I’ve never been a user of Seesmic for BlackBerry but Kal spotted on their blog yesterday that they are killing off support for BlackBerry.  Their solution? Go for another device with Android, iOS, or Windows Phone 7.  It’s a scary future for BlackBerry supported applications if it continues to decline like this.  We’ve never had Skype to begin with so we’re not really stressing on that.  But seeing Seesmic back out of device support may only encourage other developers to pull out as well.

It looks like a new leak has emerged for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 earlier this morning.  This one’s OS 6.0.0.600, not the first time we see this leak either.  We’ve seen it leak out for the Bold 9700 and Curve 9300 not too long ago and now the Torch gets the same fix.  It is a leak so download and install at your own risk.

Once again we get an update for the BlackBerry PlayBook, this time bumping it up to OS 1.0.6.2390. In this update we get support for Adobe Flash 10.3, which will make the experience better when browsing flash sites.  Also included is Adobe Air 2.7 compatibility which is great news for developers to submit their apps and for us to download them! The update is over the air so check it out in Software Updates.

With only the BlackBerry Bold 9900 officially announced to launch for the summer, other leaked out BlackBerry devices have made their way up on the web as simulators available for download.  Devices included are the BlackBerry Torch 9810, Touch 9850, and BlackBerry Curve 9360.  With the simulators available online from RIM, it seems like it’s about time the devices finally get announced.  For now the majority is hyped up for the Bold 9900, but as mentioned before it’s expecting delays still.  In the mean time you can pick up the simulators using the link below.

Well this isn’t nice to see at all, especially when we have the BlackBerry PlayBook here, and have been wanting a cross platform video chat application to launch for a while.  Skype was already teased and rumored to be floating around for the PlayBook well before its launch, but we still haven’t seen anything.  Also we really have no Skype fix on the BlackBerry smartphone either, unless you are a Verizon customer.

Here’s another BBM Hero video from Indonesia showing off a group of cyclists Fixed and Furious.  In this video they discuss how they need BlackBerry Messenger to communicate and share thoughts, ideas, and images of course.  They use a BBM group to share all of that and coordinate where and when they’ll be riding.  The picture feature was once only used to show off their bikes and such but later it became a way for members of the group to show bike parts they want to sell or are looking for within the community.  Watch the clip and see how these guys love their BBM fix!

We’ve already had our thorough hands on experience with the BlackBerry Bold 9900 back at BlackBerry World this year.  The device is expected to launch in August but is currently facing some delays.  In this clip from BISVN, we see a quick hands on of the Bold 9900, seeing just the inside guts from the back and a bit of the exterior as well.

Recently we quietly saw the Email Setup Application get an update, which didn’t really show anything new so it must be more behind the scenes work.  I know that Mac had issues with this update on his Torch since after a reboot, the device would crash with an App Error message.  Now it looks like BBH has ripped Email Setup Application v6.11.0516.1613, a new version from OS 7.0.0.115.  It has been confirmed to work with devices both over and under 6.0.0.570, but definitely try this out at your own risk and don’t forget to back up everything before trying it out.
