Google Plus works well on BlackBerry Browser but we need an app!

Google+ (Plus) isn’t available to the general public just yet, but is currently in private beta where you need to receive an invite to test it out from someone else.  We already knew it would get an Android application, but no love for the BlackBerry.  What’s currently available is the “web app” which is pretty much the mobile site with a nice and easy UI to use as seen above.

But we want an application.  It’s no secret that developers are currently dropping out of BlackBerry as far as app development goes, but Google has been known to have quite a few great ones available for us at the moment including Maps and Gmail.  To stop at Google+ would be aggravating as it’s not the fix we really want.  Let’s face it – apps are cool, and that’s what society demands.

So for now we cope with the “web app” until Google changes their mind on developing an application or maybe their API will open up for it for third party developers to get their app development on.
