Tag Attack for BlackBerry PlayBook – Space shooter game with retro style
by Mac JadalhackTag Attack was brought to our attention by RIM, who are currently promoting Tag Attack as a game built using Adobe AIR 2.7. As a result, Tag Attack is a great game for the BlackBerry PlayBook and highly addictive. It’s a space shooter game where you fly around space in your ship and destroy enemy ships as they approach you. The controls are easy – just drag your finger around to your targets and you’ll shoot by tapping the screen. There are power ups to pick up including bombs, shield repairs, and temporary better aim accuracy power ups.
Tag Attack runs on portrait mode only, as most games are in landscape so this gives you a little different vibe. There’s a few other plane shooter games on App World, but I’m really fond of Tag Attack because of its retro style pixelated nature making you feel like it’s Atari all over again.
Tag Attack is not free to download, but it’s at a very low premium of 99 cents. You can grab a copy from BlackBerry App World.
