Are you an avid BlackBerry user? You don’t have to be one to be a victim as addiction can occur with many other smartphones as well. Be aware of those around you curious as to why you’re always on your moible and who it is you may be talking to, or what it is you’re doing on there exactly. A recent study from Retrevo suggests some interesting statistics. Here’s highlights from the bundle, but you can also go ahead and read the full report using the link after the jump. It’s a scary thought knowing that over one third of people admit to having secretly checked a loved one’s call history or email. That’s life I guess, and if you’re head is stuck in your BlackBerry smartphone all day, your loved one might just want to check into what’s going on exactly. Here’s the stats:
- People today are more likely to secretly check the email or history of someone they’re dating, than they were a year ago. 23% admitted, in 2010, to doing this, as opposed to 33% in 2011.
- Secretly Tracking & Relationships: 33% of women say they would secretly track their spouse/partner using their cell phone or other electronic device (compared to 31% of men).
- Secret Tracking & Parenting: 64% of moms would secretly track their child using their cell phone or other electronic device (compared with just 53% of dads).

Boost Mobile is offering the style for a cheap premium of only $199.99, which is great for a no commitment device (running OS 6 as well).

Once upon a time, most leaked photos appeared just like this one. Luckily we’re already familiar with the BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 by now seeing it hands on and numerous video reviews. The excitement starts when we see the device with carrier branding. This isn’t the first time we see Verizon pop up. Last month we saw an online ad showing that a Bold 9930 was in place from Verizon. At BlackBerry World 2011, we saw it with T-Mobile branding after the official announcement. Now we see it with a Verizon splash screen indicating that yes, it’s coming to big red after all.

It’s quite obvious by now that the BlackBerry Torch 2 9810 carries more power than the original BlackBerry Torch 9800. Even so, it’s always nice to see a head to head overview of the two next to each other, seeing the significant enhancements in play. Last we heard of the Torch 2 was that it passed FCC and apps displayed in the Apps folder hinting that it’s headed to AT&T. Full video after the jump!
