BlackBerry Curve 9380 gets reviewed – More Images & Videos Included!

The BlackBerry Curve 9380 left us on a bit of a mystery last week when we saw its first real images leaked out.  The Curve 9380 is the first all touchscreen Curve, more of an entry device with a step under the Torch 9850/9860.  Luckily MacBerry has already been able to review it already so we got a closer look of the device in some nice quality images, some alongside with the Torch 9850/9860 and a video clip showing off some features.

To me, this looks like the replacement of the Storm only because of its size, and sort of the shape.  The backside definitely confirms its a Curve with the branding so that’s finalized all the way.  This Curve also gets NFC, which creates even more confusion now.  Pretty much RIM put NFC in the Bold 9900, the skipped out on the Torch 9810 and 9850/9860.  Now they have decided to put it into entry level devices such as the Curve 9360 and 9380.

I can’t imagine that the Torch 9850/9860 has no NFC, then its baby sibling the Curve 9380 does.  But that’s how it’s going based on these images and video which show the chip on the back cover and NFC option in the OS itself.  There’s no telling when this device is launching, but I definitely would like to see it hands on soon for sure.  Here’s some more images below along with the full video hands on experience.
