Now Three UK has joined in on the teasing with the new BlackBerry Curve 9360.  My mouth isn’t watering for this device either, but I’m sure there’s a community out there who wants the device, especially if it has NFC and goes for a low premium.  So here we see a quick tour of the BlackBerry CUrve 9360 once again.  Nothing new or spectacular in this video versus the others but at least we know Three UK will be picking the device up soon!  You can read more on the device on the Three UK Blog.

Vodafone UK put out a demo video shortly after announcing the all new BlackBerry Curve 9360.  Here we get a closer look at the device where we see it is pretty thin.  I was troubled to see that it was running at 800MHz, but it looks to be running pretty smooth according to the video.  It has a lower screen resolution of 480 x 360, which we’ve been well acquainted with for a little while on the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and 9780 for quite some time.  Other than that the video shows standard BlackBerry services we’re used to and know all about such as email services and Social Feeds.

Vodafine is set to pick up the BlackBerry Curve 9360 “soon” as they usually don’t announce launch dates until they get close enough.  The Curve 9360 is the GSM version of the new generation Curve family announced late last night.  Vodafone points out the Curve 9360′s biggest features as the brilliant clear display, the latest thinnest device, and BlackBerry 7 OS.  The new Curve is a great device for those who don’t care for the touchscreen and don’t mind the smaller screen.  Vodafone hasn’t announced its pricing yet, but I’m sure we’ll be seeing it soon as a date comes up.  You can sign up to be notified for updates on the new BlackBerry Curve 9360 at the Vodafone site.

So with all the good news of the new BlackBerry Curve devices officially announced by RIM late tonight, here’s a few images to get turn your interest deeper into the devices.  All three Curves look identical where the differences lay underneath the hood as mentioned in our previous post which points out the small differences.  Some of you may not be real interested in the new generation Curve since we’re spoiled with higher end devices such as the new Bold and Torch family devices but the Curve looks quite appealing.  It’s definitely super thin as seen in the images giving it some resemblance of the Bold 9900 series thickness.

The press release mentioned three new BlackBerry Curve models, which adds a bit of confusion as to why it’s three and not two.  Usually we see two – one being GSM and the other CDMA.  In this case the flavors come a bit different.

The Curve 9370 is Dual-Band CDMA/EVDO Rev A with support for Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well.  Under the hood you get 1GB of built in storage while the rest get 512MB.  The Curve 9360 gets Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Tri-Band UMTS support.  Last, the 9350 gets Dual-Band CDMA/EVDO Rev A support.  So to break it down it looks like the Curve 9370 is more of a world phone supporting both CDMA and GSM, and will probably hit CDMA carriers such as Verizon Wireless.  The 9360 is straight up GSM, so that narrows down to carriers such as T-Mobile and AT&T in the United States.  The 9350 holds down as strictly CDMA with no option to insert a SIM or use overseas in other countries so that’s narrowed down itself to its carriers.

RIM has finally come out with the new Curve series we’ve been waiting to see unveiled for a few months now.  Today we see the BlackBerry Curve 9350, 9360, and 9370 all get announced.  It’s been a while since we saw a Curve with actual nice features launch.  After the 8300 series, the Curve kind of took a dump with way too basic specs and stayed consistent through a couple generations with little upgrades added to them.  The all new BlackBerry Curve devices supports OS 7, with full QWERTY keyboard (same Curve style) but no touchscreen.  Here’s the full press release below:
