The BlackBerry Payment Service SDK just got updated to version 1.5 from the original 1.0.  With this new version, developers can offer subscription based services and auto-renewal subscriptions for applications and in app services.  BlackBerry Payment Service can manage subscription renewals by sending out reminders to users who have the application automatically.  Subscription services does require the latest BlackBerry App World 3.0.
