What applications are you waiting for to get OS 7 support?

I remember when the BlackBerry Bold 9000 first came out, it was a huge inconvenience not having support for a bunch of applications I previously had on my Curve 8310. Soon enough developers caught on and updated their applications to work with the new OS but the transition period was frustrating.

With OS 7, we have a wide variety of applications available for it even from day one and the list just continues growing everyday. Personally there are some applications I have been waiting for that haven’t released and I’m hoping the developers are having plans to get around to it soon enough.

Shazam is a great example. I purchased the premium Encore version which gives you unlimited music tags rather than limited. Until now there is no support for the app when it comes to OS 7 and I am still waiting patiently. I’m hoping there is a plan to extend it over to the new OS, especially for us who purchased the full app and expect updates and future support with that.

Next app I use is 7Digital Music Store. Yes, OS 7 has it’s new native Music Store powered by Amazon, but what happens when I have all my music purchased with 7Digital from before? RIM pushed out 7Digital for the BlackBerry when it first launched, and even made it the native Music Store backend on the PlayBook. Switching sources isn’t quite easy when you’ve built a library already with one and not the other.
