I’m sure you’ve noticed that AOL Instant Messenger is vacant on newer OS 7 devices. Currently we have WIndows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and Google Talk. According to a knowledge base article from BlackBerry, AOL Instant Messenger is set to be no longer available from October 28th and on. However, AOL has released their own BlackBerry application for AIM and is available free in BlackBerry App World. It lets you talk to your AIM friends and Facebook Chat friends as well.
