Gameloft released two new hot games yesterday for the BlackBerry PlayBook. The first one is Spider-Man: Total Mayhem which we’ve seen on other platforms in the past. The game is awesome and we even got to get a little hands on with it yesterday at the BlackBerry DevCon party before grabbing a copy for ourselves. The next is Eternal Legacy which looks to be a role playing game (RPG). Reviews for both games are tip top so far. Let us know if you grab either or!

For the BlackBerry Internet Service outage that occurred for a few days in the EMEA and about a day in the United States, RIM announced they would be giving out $100 worth of applications to all BlackBerry users started today. The category in App World is titled “Thank You Gift,” but it’s obvious that this is the category set for the outage apps. So far I only see DriveSafe.ly Pro on the list and obviously we are promised a bunch more. Keep your eyes open for new applications that surface.

There’s tons of game talk on the BlackBerry PlayBook. We previously showed you the hands on for Tomb Raider on the BlackBerry PlayBook which was ported over from another platform. RIM showed off Cut The Rope for BlackBerry PlayBook as well. Cut The Rope is a very popular game from Rovio Mobile, makers of Angry Birds. Seeing it on the PlayBook is a pretty big deal and created lots of excitement among us all during the keynote. The game runs just as good as any other platform here. No signs of it available yet, but we hope to see this hit the App World shelves soon!
