The folks over at BBin managed to get Android OS Gingerbread, Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich launchers running on the BlackBerry PlayBook! The OS we see here is the developer beta of 2.0, which took off at DevCon last week. What’s really interesting to see here is that the Android OS still communicates with QNX. In the clip we see WiFi settings clicked in Android where QNX pops up with its WiFi settings. Check out the clip!

So there’s a white BlackBerry Bold 9900 after all. We saw some images here and there showing that a BlackBerry Bold 9900 in white color is on the way. Now we finally see Vodfone give us a sneak peek of the device. I was curious to see how the battery door would be since the black comes with a carbon fiber look to it. Based on the video, it’s a flush white color which isn’t bad either. The trackpad is black as expected and the whole trim is covered in chrome as well.

The guys at Marmalade have put together an interactive book of Harold and the Purple Crayon. In this book you help Harold tell the story! Each page of the story allows children to color-in Harold’s drawing, bringing the scene to life in beautiful animation. The Harold and the Purple Crayon comes complete with multiple story modes such as:
- Touch Tale is the signature mode where your interaction and exploration are required to tell the story.
- Read to Me is a narrated version of the story where children can follow along, focusing on vocabulary building and word recognition
- Read Alone is perfect for young readers or parents wishing to read the story to their young child.

A tipster from Boost Mobile let us know that the company has decided to get rid of the BlackBerry Style 9670, already. With that said, it’s obvious that the device is not doing well at all. Sprint did away with it at first then later passed it along to their prepaid division Boost which obviously did poorly.
As of now, retail locations are still carrying the device and it seems to be available online still. Perhaps we’ll see them get rid of whatever stock is around and that’ll be the end of it.
If you where hoping to get the Blackberry boost fear not there are plenty of other options available at dialaphone, visit the site now to compare phones and get a great deal at dialaphone.co.uk
