So maybe that weird looking BlackBerry Bold 9980 is legit. It looks like that’s what the Porsche design BlackBerry is going to be (but you never kn0w). RIM is set to unveil the new device at an event in Dubai on October 27th. It’s by invite only and the folks over at BBin were able to snag the invite flyer for it. If you don’t recall the Porsche design BlackBerry, click here to view the image gallery.

- View notes offline – notes are stored when viewed or created so they can be open offline
- Create/edit new notes offline, the changes will be submitted when connected

Right before DevCon 2011, I tried out a new game that arrived in BlackBerry App World called Bomberman vs Zombies. With the good graphics and fun gameplay, I was shocked to see that the game was absolutely free of charge. Bomberman is a classic game where you play as the dude who goes around planting bombs to open pathways which clear the level. Now we have a little remix with some zombie action as well. Download the game at App World for BlackBerry smartphones.

RIM just announced BBX OS as their operating system for the future of BlackBerry smartphones and tablets. That sounds all good until we hear that another company has the rights to trademark BBX – BASIS International. You can read more on the claims from BASIS, but RIM quickly replied saying they didn’t receive anything at all from the company about this:
“RIM has not yet received a copy of the legal complaint described in Basis International’s press release, but we do not believe the marks are confusing, particularly since our respective companies are in different lines of business.”
So that’s all we have for now but I’m sure more will surface out of it as the days go by. Stay tuned for more

EZLinks for BBM is a cool app brought to you by Mblware, the company responsible for the very successful app BlackBook. With EZ Links, you can get some BBM tasks done quicker with a simple press of a button. For example, you’ll be able to update your BBM status from anywhere in any screen by pushing the menu button at any time. You’ll need BBM 6 to use this app of course and a battery pull is required after installation.
