First BBX phones getting PlayBook resolution and will support BES out of the box

And now that rumor is squashed. Months ago it was circulating around the web that the first QNX OS BlackBerry smartphones would not be compatible with BES. In an interview, Alec Saunders has said it’s not true and that the device will be capable of it right out the box.
Back at DevCon, we were told that all these games and apps coming for the PlayBook now will work on BBX smartphones later. We were never really told much about how it would all work or storage, but Saunders mentions in the interview that it will have all the features of the PlayBook including a 16:9 ratio and 1024-by-600 screen. When asked what the BBX phone operating system would look like, Saunders held up the PlayBook saying it’ll look just like that.
