Carrier News, Leaked Content »
The BlackBerry Curve 9380 is already heading to carriers, starting with Bell which has internally noted they are launching it on November 28th. The Curve 9380 is the first all touchscreen device in the Curve family offering lower end specs than what we currently have, sort of. It gets an 800MHz processor, OS 7, 480 x 360 screen resolution, and NFC capability which devices such as the Torch lack. There’s no pricing details just yet. RIM officially announced the Curve 9380 yesterday, so it’s just about right to see carriers announce carrying it anytime now.

Back at DevCon 2011, we had the opportunity to check out Roboto by Union. We saw a quick demonstration of it during the keynote, but unfortunately didn’t get the game officialy until now. Union has launched Roboto in BlackBerry App World today so you can grab it for only $4.99. For those who haven’t seen Roboto before, you play as a teen robot with a hoverboard. You have to get through levels passing security bots so that you can ask out a girl (which Roboto likes). There’s over 30 levels in this game with all sorts of weapons and new features as you go along.
Please note that Roboto is not yet compatible with PlayBook OS 2.0. Click the link below to purchase a copy.

But that’s not all. In ToFu2, you can get different costumes for your character and various different themes for your Dojo. There’s also golden tofu which is used when you pause the game menu if you’re ever stuck on a level. The golden tofu is only available every four hours.

RSS feed readers for the BlackBerry PlayBook are all over App World. Many of which are premium and now JaredCo has officially launched SpeedReader which is free. You can add any RSS feeds you’d like and then you see all the articles you want to see with little thumbnails and post titles. From there you can scroll left and right and select whichever post you want.
SpeedReader isn’t the best RSS feed reader, and it isn’t the worst either. No matter what, it’s free to download from BlackBerry App World so you should give it a shot.

I bet it’s so hard to keep up with all the OS builds available for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 nowadays. We’ve had one too many leaks over the last couple weeks for it. I’m having a hard time keeping up myself as I just installed 7.0.0.503 the other day. Today we see OS 7.0.0.540, a bit of a jump from the previous build a few days ago. There’s no word on how stable this OS is here, but it’s newer than them all as of today. If you decide to install let us know if you spot anything new or experience anything at all.
