Kim Kardashian, one of our favorite BlackBerry users yet just got some additions on her BlackBerry Bold 9700.  She must of been jealous of her sister Khloe who recently made the switch. Last time we saw, she had a Curve 8900 where she took pictures of herself half naked to some lucky guy.  Not so lucky, as the picture publicized all over the interwebs.  From the look of it, this could be some Colorware added to it.  I say this because, not only has the chrome bezel been replaced with a gold one, but the BlackBerry emblem also is gold.  We don’t know what the front face looks like as we only see the back portion here.  On the other hand, maybe Kim ordered some parts from CNN.cn or TrueSupplier and did the operation herself.  Yeah right.

So the latest rumor from the wire is that the BlackBerry Storm 9530 is getting discontinued from Verizon Wireless.  The original Storm 9530 released in late 2008, having a very sloppy release with customer complaints left and right on the operating system.  Overtime, OS updates released, and in my opinion OS 5.0 came too late, when it should of sooner to keep its customers on it.  The main question is, who will be sticking around with the Storm 9530 any more after Verizon stops its production and retail?  I know Chris Brown is holding a Storm, as seen above in the image.

If you are one of many who follow Hollywood celebrities, than you already know that the BlackBerry Bold 9000 quickly became the most popular celebrity device.  Of course with the all new Bold 9700 launching, celebrities got first hand experiences and their own free one at the launch party.  We saw Tara Reid holding one sometime ago, which we also have confirmation that she did attend the launch party event.  In this picture above we see Khloe Kardashian with a BlackBerry Bold 9700, as the three sisters traditionally had the Curve 8900.  We usually don’t get to see Khloe in action with her Berry.  Not as much as her sister Kim! Either way, the Bold 9000 still floats around many celebrities hands such as Ryan Secreast.

It looks like she had a little bit too much.Last seen in the past few months was poor Lady Gaga walking around with a red BlackBerry 88xx.  Either way, I’m glad someone finally broke the bad news to her that pop singers don’t look cool rockin’ corporate devices.  In this picture, Lady Gaga is allergic to camera shine and shows the world that she now has a BlackBerry Bold 9000.

Leaving the BlackBerry 88xx series and going on to the Bold 9000 is a very easy transition.  For starters, the keyboard is pretty much the same, and the size of both devices are very close to one another.  Many of you ask, why wouldn’t she just switch to the 9700?  First off, it might not of been available when this picture was even taken.  Secondly, there are a lot of BlackBerry users out there that prefer the Bold 9000 over the 9700 because of its large sized screen and keyboard.

Just the other day in our Highlights of 2009 article, we made a small mention on Tila Tequila and how she took pictures similar to Kim Kardashian.  Here we see Tila Tequila go at again seducing that significant other(s) whoever he/she may be.  Either way, we’re satisfied with the incredible amounts of entertainment Tila Tequila, Kim Kardashian, and even Lindsay Lohan have given us through these BlackBerry photos they take of themselves.  According to this photo, Tila Tequila is using a BlackBerry Curve 8900 with T-Mobile service.  Does she not know that the 9700 is out? I guess not.  And who know what she’s been doing for years.  Last I heard she was a Hooters girl in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

We all know that the BlackBerry Bold 9000 has been the top choice of famous celebrities all year.  Within most of our BlackBerry Celebrities posts, the Bold 9000 makes most of its appearances in their hands along with a signature Starbucks cup (usually venti or grande).  Sure we saw Chris Brown standing alone rockin’ a Storm, and Rihanna still in disturbia keeping a Curve close to her at all times.  Or how about our favorite Kim Kardashian who might as well be a walking advertisement for the BlackBerry.  Now we’re starting to see celebrities such as Tara Reid rock the new BlackBerry Bold 9700.  We all know she went to the launch party for the device, but it looks like she’s grown attached to it and has kept the non-carrier branded 9700.

The BlackBerry Bold 9000 seems to be the preferred choice of many celebrities.  As you all can see, many of these celebrities (both male and female) are always seen holding their BlackBerry devices with a coffee or soft drink of any kind in the same hand.  Even if it’s Paris Hilton rockin’ a huge purse.  We’d be sure to see the BlackBerry at hand.  I guess we all need to stay connected at all times.  In this picture we see Kristen Cavallarie enjoying a Jamba Juice drink from what it looks like, with her BlackBerry Bold 9000 in the same hand just incase she gets emailed that the new Van Wilder film will be featuring her or that CSI: New York wants her back for another episode.

What’s going on with Sarah Palin?  So she just releases her book Going Rogue: An American Life and starts making more media appearances as seen above on Newsweek and on the Oprah Winfrey show.  In the picture above, she is holding a BlackBerry Curve 8310.  To my knowledge that is the exact model number due to the dark gray color and the obvious design of the 83xx series that we all know.  Of course, there is always that possibility that it’s another device, but who cares?  This is the BlackBerry Celebrities section, which is completely pointless showing you celebrities rockin’ Berries with a joke here and there.  So Newsweek posts “How do you solve a problem like Sarah” on the front cover with her picture which we found more amusing than her holding that 8310 Curve.

Usually our BlackBerry Celebrities section shows actual celebrities rockin’ BlackBerry devices.  Well we strongly believe Homer Simpson is a celebrity too and deserved the spot today. By looking at the BlackBerry in his hand, it seems like it’s a 72xx series.  For those unaware, the 72xx series BlackBerry was when RIM targeted towards business consumers strictly, before the camera was ever introduced (to the BlackBerry that is). Which BlackBerry would Homer Simpson get next, given that he is eligible for upgrade?
