Of course all of the focus at this time is BlackBerry 10 OS when it comes to RIM.  On the side, there are some BlackBerry 7 smartphones still launching including the BlackBerry Curve 9320 and Curve 9220.  Pictured above is the all new BlackBerry Curve 9320 as the folks over at BGRin have been able to check it out hands on.  Some new features in this Curve include a dedicated BBM button on the upper left hand side and rumored FM radio capability.  As you can see, it shares the same menu buttons as the BlackBerry Bold 9790, which has yet to show its face in the United States.  We’ll see what markets this new Curve series will be in.  One more image after the jump!

This time around we get to see a little more of the home screen and what looks to be like widgets.  If these images are legitimate, then BlackBerry 10 definitely looks nothing like the OS we expected, since it was supposed to be hand in hand with BlackBerry PlayBook OS.  If anything, the home screen resembles iPhone- a lot.  It looks like a front face camera is in play as well since we see a video chat option.  Wondering if this will be a WiFi-only function.  Also notable is the Mailbox, which we haven’t seen as a name for an inbox before.  The only real thing that resembles the QNX OS that we know here is the folder as seen on the home screen.  Currently on PlayBook OS 2.0, you can create folders by overlapping applications.  More images after the jump!

rogers-9790-pricing

It looks like Rogers is getting the BlackBerry Bold 9790.  The device should be making its way to various carriers in no time!  MobileSyrup got a leaked document showing the full pricing of the BlackBerry Bold 9790 Rogers.  The pricing is as follows:

  • 3-year contract: $99.99 (with a $45/monthly voice and data plan)
  • 2-year contract: $349.99
  • 1-year contract: $399.99
  • No-contract: $449.99

With the BlackBerry Bold 9900 available, does the 9790 appeal to your interest at all? Some prefer the 9790 form factor over the larger 9900 device, but specs play a big role as well.

9790Bold_AdAngle

The BlackBerry Bold 9790 was officially announced earlier today.  We don’t have our hands on yet, but we get stock images for now to get a better idea of the device.  All along we’ve been comparing this device to the original BlackBerry Bold 9700 due to its form factor.  The size is pretty much the same, although RIM put in a lot of alterations here to fit more into today’s standards.  Hit the jump for more images.

first bbx phone

At first it was open for questioning, and then more sources over at The Verge confirmed for the info to be true.  This is the first BBX OS powered smartphone from RIM.  At a quick glance it resembles the BlackBerry Porsche P’9981 with the whole shape and color of it.  The codename is BlackBerry “London” and is expected to sport a dual core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of on board storage, 8MP rear camera, and 2MP front face camera.  According to the leak, it’s expected to be thinner than the iPhone 4 and the same size about as the Samsung Galaxy II.

We should be expecting to see this device take off in the third quarter of 2012, and we seriously can’t wait to get our hands on it already.  From what we’re seeing in the image, this OS resembles QNX as we know it on the PlayBook.  The open tabs look very similar to PlayBook OS 2.0, with the title of the application underneath in a box, looking like actual tabs.

It’s a dream come true for many seeing AT&T announced the BlackBerry Bold 9900 with a launch date at last.  Furthermore, it’s a bigger tease to see the device in the flesh only a couple days before launch date.  The folks over at CrackBerry received an image of an AT&T branded Bold 9900 with its retail packaging next to it.

For those who missed the announcement, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 will be offered at all AT&T stores on November 6th for $199.99 on a 2-year contract.

You have to admit that white BlackBerry devices just look way hotter.  Everytime a new BlackBerry launches, we’re always waiting to see when the white version comes out.  Phones 4 U is offering the BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9810, and Curve 9360 in white color for pre-order now.  The Torch 9810 we’ve seen in white as AT&T offers the flavor already from launch day.  As for the Bold 9900, we’re only starting to see the device come in white along with the Curve 9360.
