A few days ago, Shape Services released IM+ Lite Edition which is a free version with advertisements.  Better than dropping 50 bucks if you ask me.  Any way, we never gave you our feedback on what we saw on the app so here we go.  So as I just mentioned the Lite Edition is ad-based and does not offer IMPush/Stay online and Speech Recognition functionality.  This may not big a big deal for some of you just looking to get online.

As you are all probably aware there are a lot of free messenger applications. If you have friends on all sorts of messengers, or under different accounts, like business and pleasure for example. with IM+ lite you can have everyone together.

We were following Seesmic on Twitter closely today as they posted about releasing a new major update in the next hour, but really ended up taking longer than that.  Any way, we are always pleased in seeing new updates with Twitter applications, seeing who added what, which client is better than the other, and who remains on top.  We’re happy to see that Seesmic as added Ping.fm capability in their application (after acquiring Ping.fm) and capability of adding multiple Twitter accounts.  Super cool if you ask me.  Hit the jump under the screenshots to check out more features on the all new Seesmic for BlackBerry.

Last Foursquare update, we saw Friends management get added to it, allowing us to add, accept, and deny friend requests.  This time around, Foursquare has went even further with its BlackBerry app as it ranks at v1.5 and has an awesome tips menu.  So let’s say you’re checking out a gyro hot spot in the city.  You’re on Foursquare checking it and out and would like to see the talk about it.  After seeing its pros and cons, you can put it on your to do list for a later time if you want.  Pretty cool right?

It looks like UberTwitter went through another update tonight but with no change log.  Upon logging on to UberTwitter on my BlackBerry, I was prompted with an update, but it only brought it up from 0.960 to 0.964.  Perhaps it’s only out to fix minor bugs occurring from the previous version.  If any of you who decided to download this update find anything new, drop us a line.

We’re a bit late in mentioning, but we just got looked through our email tips to find that the official Twitter App by RIM has been leaked out in the open.  It was just yesterday we were reviewing the new application, giving you all the ins and outs of it.  So much for closed beta.  Any way, here are the OTA links below brought to you by the folks over at BBHybrids.  Enjoy yourselves.

I’m glad this happened quick.  Just the other day, I had some of my friends sending me messages over BlackBerry Messenger asking why I haven’t accepted their friend requests.  I couldn’t seem to figure out how to manage friends on Foursquare application for BlackBerry, so I was logging into the website each and every time to do so.  Kyle from BlackBerry Cool discovered that Foursquare has finally put friend management into their application allowing you to do everything within, never having to log on to the main website again.

This application is no joke.  I can’t defend it or hate on it in any way.  DonTalk for BlackBerry allows you to talk and meet random strangers through the application.  A cool part about is that you can set it to receive messages in your own language.  Simply select the country you would like to chat with, set the language, and you’re good to go.  A Facebook application for this is also available which is called “DonTalk” as well.  There is no sign up or registration for this so you’ll be good to go from the beginning.  Please be careful if you decide to do this and don’t give out your credit card numbers, social securities, and ATM pins through this app.  DonTalk is intended for strictly fun and nothing more.

Features:

  • Talk with random stranger.
  • Get messages in your language.
  • Chat with selected gender/country.
  • No signup required.
  • It’s totally FREE!!

Your BlackBerry isn’t a Gameboy. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy mobile gaming throughout your day in between your routined schedule. Here’s a list of three free classic games I hope you can all remember, regardless of your age.

Pacman is a hit classic game featured on the Atari platform (and many others) and later hit arcade game machines. Variations such as Ms. Pacman and Pacman 3D were later created. So here’s the classic Pacman game for BlackBerry absolutely free. Some of you have this already while the rest of the world has been totally oblivious of its availability. Click here to download free.

Tetris is an addictive strategy/puzzle game or whatever other category you consider it. I love it and have playing since I had it on my Gameboy in the early 90’s. Hopefully you’ll find the same joy in it as I have. This one is called BlockBerry, but is exactly identical to Tetris. Click here to download free.

SU Addictions is another good one I like.  It basically consists of 20 variations of the hit card game Solitaire.  If you’re a fan of playing cards, you’ll definitely want to check this out.  Click here to download free.
