The BlackBerry Curve 9320 has been getting a bit of spotlight in the leaked news sector lately as it’s RIM’s next smartphone to release this year, before BlackBerry 10 devices of course.  The Curve 9320 differs from the rest as it includes a dedicated BBM shortcut key on the upper left side.  Now we see two leaked videos out for the device, tutorial videos to be exact.  Click the links below to check them out.

Of course all of the focus at this time is BlackBerry 10 OS when it comes to RIM.  On the side, there are some BlackBerry 7 smartphones still launching including the BlackBerry Curve 9320 and Curve 9220.  Pictured above is the all new BlackBerry Curve 9320 as the folks over at BGRin have been able to check it out hands on.  Some new features in this Curve include a dedicated BBM button on the upper left hand side and rumored FM radio capability.  As you can see, it shares the same menu buttons as the BlackBerry Bold 9790, which has yet to show its face in the United States.  We’ll see what markets this new Curve series will be in.  One more image after the jump!

According to a leaked screenshot from the folks over at MobileSyrup, RIM is due for the BlackBerry PlayBook LTE in early April.  We already have OS 2.0 for the current PlayBook as promised, and obviously we’ll be seeing it out of the box for these future tablets with LTE.  Supposedly RIM is making a few enhancements in the generation PlayBook including a faster processor.  There’s no known carriers in the US who will carry the tablet yet, but in Canada it looks like Bell will be getting it with a maybe flag on Rogers and Telus.

It’s a bit mysterious to know exactly what RIM and T-Mobile are up to here.  According to TmoNews who received the leaked invite image, the event will feature “sneak preview of Blackberry’s latest and upcoming technology.”  At the same time, we see a BlackBerry 7 logo on the invitation which throws us off a bit.  Will we be seeing more BlackBerry 7 devices or is this for BlackBerry 10 smartphones?!

This time around we get to see a little more of the home screen and what looks to be like widgets.  If these images are legitimate, then BlackBerry 10 definitely looks nothing like the OS we expected, since it was supposed to be hand in hand with BlackBerry PlayBook OS.  If anything, the home screen resembles iPhone- a lot.  It looks like a front face camera is in play as well since we see a video chat option.  Wondering if this will be a WiFi-only function.  Also notable is the Mailbox, which we haven’t seen as a name for an inbox before.  The only real thing that resembles the QNX OS that we know here is the folder as seen on the home screen.  Currently on PlayBook OS 2.0, you can create folders by overlapping applications.  More images after the jump!

It looks like BlackBerry London has made an appearance once again. This time we get a clearer image with some promotional writing on its left. Of course it will be packing OS 10 and awesome hardware hopefully. Looks kinda like a Droid?

We heard rumors on a convertible case with a built in keyboard and trackpad launching for the BlackBerry PlayBook.  Unfortunately time has gone by and we haven’t heard any official announcements from RIM.  BerryReview got some slides detailing the keyboard and it’s looking sweet.  Here are some highlighted features:

  • Both a keyboard and a touchpad
  • Can last up to 30 days on a charge
  • Comes with a case that folds over your PlayBook
  • Multitouch touchpad with one finger left click and two finger right click (for remote desktop apps)
  • Mouse scrolling with two fingers on the touchpad
  • Charges via MicroUSB
