Ok so you’re not exactly ready to go beta with yesterday’s OS 7.1 leak for the BlackBerry Bold 9790.  Perhaps you want a stable official operating system.  Orange UK released OS 7.0.0.611 for the BlackBerry Bold 9790 yesterday, so you can download that alternatively if you want the latest and greatest.

The BlackBerry Bold 9790 finally received some OS 7.1 love last night.  This one’s 7.1.0.247, a newer OS than seen on other BlackBerry 7 smartphones.  There doesn’t seem to be any official features available in this version but let us know what you spot! Download mirrors below..

Verizon recently rolled out a new update for the BlackBerry Bold 9650.  Of course no OS 7 love since it is an older BlackBerry device.  This update is OS 6.0.0.719, and hopefully decent for those not satisfied with the current OS on their Bold 9650.  You can download it officially from Verizon’s website.

It looks like T-Mobile is officially rolling out OS 7.1.0.205 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 now.  Previously we saw leaks for 7.1.0.205 and 7.1.0.190 and now the .205 got the official release.  This includes Mobile Hotspot and yes WiFi calling at at last, which is a key feature to T-Mobile smartphones and was missing since the device launched.  For now it looks to be an over the air update from your smartphone but it should show up on T-Mobile’s website soon.

Another BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 Beta has surfaced from RIM. This one came out of the blue, but it’s certainly availabe through RIM’s developer beta program to download. When checking out the Software Updates page, it reads “this version offers support for new languages, BlackBerry Bridge updates and Multi-media enhancements.” On the main site to register for the beta I notice it says Adobe AIR 3.0 is included with native API 2.0, runtime for Android apps and WebWorks listed. Be the judge and let us know what you spot!

The BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9860 and Torch 9810 got a new OS leak today. Thankfully it’s a newer build of OS 7.1 which hopefully is more stable than previous versions that leaked. All download links below. If you decide to install let us know how it is.
