T-Mobile has sent out emails to BlackBerry users that a beta version of OS 7.1 is available in BlackBerry Beta Zone for customers to download.  It has already gone official for CDMA users, and currently in beta for GSM users for the time being.  If you have T-Mobile, head over to BlackBerry Beta Zone to download and let us know how it is.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 has joined in on the OS 7.1 leakage which we saw go on since last week.  It looks like the Curve 9360 gets the same version as the rest- 7.1.0.190.  And yes, it does support Mobile Hotspot!  Again it is not official, so if you decide to download it, do so at your own risk!

A few days ago we let you know that OS 7.1 would be officially releasing for the BlackBerry Bold 9930 and Torch 9850.  It looks like some users are starting to get the update in today officially.  You still can’t pick up the official desktop download from Verizon, but it should be flying over the air to your device shortly.  Let us know if you get the update!

Now all the major players have leaked and official builds of OS 7.1!  Here’s OS 7.1.0.190 for the BlackBerry Torch 9810 and Torch 9860.  We saw a hybrid build of OS 7.1 for the Torch 9810 in the past, but it wasn’t stable in anyway. Mobile hotspot worked at least.  So these are leaked versions still but download and install at your own risk.  On the Bold 9900, this same OS came to be really stable, performing better than other 7.0’s in my opinion.  Give it a shot and let us know!

According to some Verizon docs, OS 7.1 is coming soon to BlackBerry Bold 9930 and Torch 9850 users! Sprint already got the official update and Verizon will be getting the same. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 just got a second leak for OS 7.1.  Back in November we saw an earlier release, but it was really buggy and didn’t work too well for many users- other than the fact that you could use the Mobile Hotspot feature.  Here’s hoping to a more stable build! Download and install at your own risk of course.

AT&T is known for releasing OS updates pretty late.  That’s why this one comes up as a shocker since it is an updated build.  The BlackBerry Torch 9810 got an official update to day from AT&T to OS 7.0.0.583.  Most folks are crazed over OS 7.1 now, especially since Sprint customers received the update officially for BlackBerry 7 devices.  In the meantime, a stable OS is still good to have.

It doesn’t look like the update is available on BlackBerry’s OS page yet but keep your eye open.  If you’re an AT&T customer, you can check it out in Wireless Update.
