Here’s some love for you BlackBerry Bold 9700 users.  It’s surprising that to see all the complaints around the blogs and forums about memory leaks and issues with BlackBerry 6 on the Bold 9700.  We’re hoping for a better stable build to come along, hopefully this one addresses some.  Here’s OS 6.0.0.461 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700.

So just yesterday we finally got an update for Bolt Browser, as we haven’t been hearing about the app for quite some time now.  Now with BlackBerry 6 we have a webkit browser, but Bolt has providing that whole “desktop browser” experience.  Bolt Browser has been around for years now, and we pretty much want to see who uses the browser now.  It could be primary, secondary or whatever.  Cast your votes in the poll, tweet us, or leave us comments!

When the iPhone was announced by Verizon, we ran a quick post to see who was interested and switching over.  Now pre-ordering is officially available as of tomorrow, and some of you had lots of time to think this one through.  So drop a line, tweet us, or cast a vote in the poll – are you pre-ordering the Verizon iPhone?

When the BlackBerry Bold 9700 launched, it was such a preferred form factor for many BlackBerry users.  it was comfortable to hold and significantly smaller than the previous 9000 model.  So after the Bold 9700 came along, a slightly updated 9780 came along.  So we want to know if you were happy enough with this form factor that you upgraded to the Bold 9780, or remain put to get another future BlackBerry device launching this year.

So we’ve had a lot of nice leakage over the last two days, device leaks to be exact.  The new BlackBerry devices we saw leaked are the BlackBerry Torch 2, BlackBerry Curve (Apollo), BlackBerry Bold (Dakota), and BlackBerry Storm 3 (Monaco).  So which one are you excited for? Drop us a line in the comments, tweet us, or if your browsing via PC/Mac (or webkit browser), cast your vote in the poll above!

I know the BlackBerry Pearl series isn’t as popular as it was back in the day when the 8100 was first announced.  But I seriously have not seen anyone walk around with a BlackBerry Pearl 3G since it arrived here in the US for AT&T.  I know it’s available in Canada and overseas as well, but it doesn’t seem to be popular at all.

We’ve got all sorts of BlackBerry smartphones out now that rock full QWERTY keyboards and larger displays, so does the Pearl still appeal at all?  I’m really curious how many of you out there are actually using them at the moment.  So cast your votes please and let us know!

As you’re all aware, we had a BBM leak yesterday which wasn’t major at all.  It was a small jump from 5.0.1.41 to 5.0.1.45.  Known changes were group chats loading faster along with smoother movement scrolling around BBM in general.  Of course if any of you have seen anything, be sure to drop us a line in the comments about that.  So we wanted to put up a poll, just because, to see who went for the BBM leak yesterday.

Yesterday, a rumor circulated talking about a BlackBerry PlayBook having poor battery life and that’s the big delay at the moment.  This has caused many to think more into why such a device would have bad battery life.  The only thing we can really dig at is usage killing the battery.  Running Flash apps and lots of video with multitasking could be something the PlayBook can’t take while maintaining a long lasting battery.  I’m really hoping RIM doesn’t do away with a mediocre battery life.  So cast you votes on this poll and let us know what you think on the matter.

As you know the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and BlackBerry Style 9670 both come with only one convenience key on the right hand side.  By default it’s set to launch the camera, as it has been standard on all other BlackBerry models to have on the right as well.  It’s been an aggravation for me for a while as I loved having Task Switcher on my left hand side or QuickLaunch.  Now I have adapted to just having QuickLaunch as my right side convenience button which launches my camera and other favorite applications and contacts.

So here’s a quick poll to see how you guys make out with just having one convenience key and what you use that one for.  Cast your votes in the poll, drop us a line in the comments, or tweet us.

Yesterday we ran a poll to see the popularity of BlackBerry News Feeds among Berry users.  I have to admit, the results were really surprising.  There was a lot of disappointment the day it launched, so that made me lean more towards users voting “no.”  I don’t hate News Feeds at all, but I do feel that it needs work as it doesn’t match up to others we’ve got – not even to Viigo which was previously acquired by RIM.  So any way here’s the poll results:

  • Yes – 51.85%
  • No – 48.15%

That’s really slim, and pretty much leaves it at a 50/50 there.  Again, my predictions was seeing a lot more voting “no” just by what we’ve seen in the comments and on Twitter on how Berry users wanted more out of the application.  Also, keep in mind it’s still early and the application has just launched so it might be a matter of time until people make up their minds on this one.
