Great news Z10 owners! The hit game Cut the Rope has made its way to the BlackBerry Z10 at last as it appears to be a featured game in BlackBerry World when loading the app store up. The game is a classic – just as addictive as Angry Birds and has been around for quite a while. We saw it initially launch last year for the BlackBerry PlayBook, and has finally made its way mobile to BlackBerry 10, but only the Z10 of course due to screen resolutions obviously. The other great news is that if you purchased this bad boy on the PlayBook already, you can just simply download it on your Z10 without needing to repurchase it. Some games/apps require a separate purchase even if you already own it on the PlayBook (Plants vs Zombies is a great example). Hit the link below to grab your copy today for only $1.99.

As promised in previous App Wednesdays, Modern Combat 4 has made its debut to the BlackBerry Z10 yesterday. We’ve seen Modern Combat 3 release for the PlayBook in the past, so it’s good seeing the next sequels releasing from Gameloft. Modern Combat 4 includes real rich graphics and awesome action in a war environment. It’s 99 cents to buy and only on the Z10 right now. Not sure how well the game would work on the smaller resolution Q10.

Union has made their hit game Samurai II available for the BlackBerry Z10. This originally launched on the BlackBerry PlayBook, which was a pretty popular game once it kicked off. Good news – if you already purchased it on the PlayBook, you do not need to re-purchase the game on the Z10 so feel free to download it. Definitely a huge praise for these kinds of games and apps that were on the PlayBook and owners get to keep it moving forward to other hardware. For those who are new to Samurai II, check it out for 99 cents at BlackBerry World.

For those who enjoyed Plants vs Zombies on other platforms, or PlayBook OS – the wait is over as BlackBerry 10 now is supported. The game has grown in popularity over the years through other platforms such as Android and iOS, so it was nice to see it come to BlackBerry eventually. Only downside is that if you purchased it on your BlackBerry PlayBook, you’ll have to buy it again on your Z10 for $2.99. I do know that sometimes we see apps that require separate purchases on tablets and their respective mobile devices, but it would have been nice to see fall under the same ownership as we’ve seen in other content in BlackBerry World. For now, get your game on for $2.99 on your BlackBerry Z10.

I remember seeing the demo for Galaxy on Fire 2 for the BlackBerry PlayBook last May at the BlackBerry World Conference. Shortly after Fishlab Entertainment released this title for the BlackBerry PlayBook, and now it has landed on the BlackBerry Z10 devices. Galaxy on Fire 2 HD is an action packed combat game where you must save the Galaxy from alien raiders, space pirates and of course power crazy madmen. Galaxy on Fire 2 HD is an awesome RPG title that you have to check out, as it also includes something a little special that you won’t see on the BlackBerry PlayBook. Fishlab Entertainment has ported both of the extensive story add-ons, Valkyrie™ and Supernova™, to the new platform. Currently Supernova™ is available on the BlackBerry 10, and not the BlackBerry PlayBook. So get into the action right now, and grab Galaxy on Fire 2 for a very affordable $9.99 and get ready to be blown away.
