There doesn’t seem to be any change logs here, but Gameloft has gone ahead and updated some of its popular BlackBerry PlayBook games including N.O.V.A. 2 HD, Let’s Golf 2 HD and UNO HD.  All three of these games have been updated to version 2.0.  Perhaps this update is for BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0, although the games seem to be working fine on the beta.  Either way, the updates are in App World.  Grab them!

Here’s a quickie for those shopping for some games to play on their BlackBerry smartphones.  Hasbro has a few of their famous titles on sale for 99 cents in BlackBerry App World.  The on sale games include three variations on Monopoly, Scrabble, Yahtzee, Risk, Connect 4 Battleship and more!

The price doesn’t sound so worthy at $4.99 but when the app is marked originally for $9.99, it’s good savings.  Monopoly updated the other day to version 1.0.63 and along with that came a sale on the game which strangely appeared in App World from the BlackBerry PlayBook and not on the web store.  Not sure how long the sale is going on for, so grab a copy while supplies last!

Angry Farm for BlackBerry updated a couple days ago to version 1.1.31.  Included in this update is 50 brand new levels and a “dynamite” bundle in the game used to blow up the barn where all the foxes are.  You can buy the dynamited within the game itself.  Otherwise, the game remains to be an excellent Angry Birds clone for BlackBerry smartphones.

You may recall the game makers Munsie from a few hit BlackBerry PlayBook games.  Some of these titles include Ballies, PopcornRushClassic and CarChaos.  Munsie has summed up their popular games in one purchase for all your BlackBerry PlayBook users under TwitchArcade.  Here’s a list of all the games included:

Monopoly is one of the best games to play with friends on the BlackBerry PlayBook.  Originally it was seen on the Apple iPad as a hit game, and of course now BlackBerry PlayBook users got the same exact fix.  Monopoly got a small update to version 1.0.63, where there doesn’t seem to be a change log for it.  If you have Monopoly for the BlackBerry PlayBook and notice anything new, let us know! Modern Combat 2 Black Pegasus HD for BlackBerry PlayBook had not gone on sale since launch, and some of you were probably waiting for the price to drop a bit before grabbing a copy.  It looks like the game is only sale now (for a limited time we assume) for only 99 cents.  Yes, that’s 6 bucks off.  Gameloft often does sales on their games, but again we never saw it on Modern Combat 2 before.  Click the link below to check out screenshots of the game or to purchase a copy while supplies last.

Back in may we told you about PopcornRush by Munsie a free Fruit Slice style of game  that launched on the BlackBerry PlayBook back in May. Well it looks like Munsie is back with PopcornRush Full. The full version brings in 4 new game modes such as:

• Classic: (Traditional Popcorn Rush) which includes Bombs, Jalapenos, and all
• Arcade: which includes no bombs, and gives you the opportunity to max out on combos
• Rush: nothing but flames and kernels, pop as many kernels as you can and max out on combos
• Tap: which is not slicing at the kernals, but actually tapping (which i find to be the most challenging out of the four modes)

Cut The Rope has finally launched for the BlackBerry PlayBook today! Back at DevCon 2011, we had the opportunity to play the game on one of the demo PlayBook tablets running beta OS 2. You can grab it for $2.99 at BlackBerry App World.
For those who aren’t familiar with this game, you have to swipe your finger to cut ropes holding candy in best hopes to get it into the mouth of Om Nom which is a green creature waiting to be fed. It gets complicated and challenging as you advance.
