Back at DevCon 2011, we were teased during the keynote as BackBreaker 2 was presented before us as a “coming soon” game.  The wait is over, and BackBreaker 2 is now available in BlackBerry App World for only $2.99.  The game is of course for the BlackBerry PlayBook only.  For those who haven’t heard of BackBreaker, it’s a really popular Android and iOS game where you navigate a football player through a field of obstacles until successfully reaching the end zone.

Crush the Zombies is a game that released back in October for BlackBerry smartphones and has gained its popularity as it is an addictive game to play.  It looks like the developers have launched a free version of the game as well which may be limited on levels.  Either way, you can pick up the premium or free version fro BlackBerry App World.

The Moron Challenge became a popular franchise on the BlackBerry PlayBook and later launched for smartphones as well.  It looks likes Part 3 has officially launched yesterday and is available in BlackBerry App World.  This one’s Christmas themed with the holiday season here already.  I can’t imagine how much more puzzles and obstacles are in this one but if any of you are curious, the app is only 99 cents to buy.

Today is the day as three of the Angry Birds games are available. There’s the traditional Angry Birds game, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio. Angry Pigs is another Angry Birds style game for BlackBerry smartphones.  The premium version has been out for a little while now, but now a free edition is available.  Not sure what the free is lacking over the premium version but it might be less levels or ad support.  You can check them both out at BlackBerry App World.

Yesterday I noticed Dead Space for BlackBerry PlayBook updated to version 1.0.8, but had no idea what the update included.  According to multiple email tips (thanks everyone), it looks like the new update supports PlayBook OS 2.0.  I have already removed OS 2.0 from my PlayBook due to one too many applications not working properly on it.  So for those of you who are using it full time and have Dead Space (or wanted it), you can play it now! If you spot anything else new in the game, let us know!
