Here is a cool app that just hit BlackBerry World! It’s called Flash Ring, and it alerts you of incoming calls and even BBM voice calls by making the flash on your camera strobe. It’s something that some might have seen on friends or family members  iPhone. Now that ability is available for your BlackBerry 10 devices. Flash Ring is a really cool app, and you can adjust the frequency of the flash speed, set the front LED, and the camera flash when it rings. Flash Ring utilizes your camera permissions, so it will not work if another camera app is open, and the app must be open as an active tile for it to run (that of course is until BlackBerry releases the ability to create headless apps for all developers).  Flash Ring is a must have app, and if you want to see it in action check out the video here! During yesterday’s keynote here at BlackBerry Jam, we got to see Moog’s famous sythisizer for BlackBerry 10. We were told by the makers that the app would roll out Thursday but it looks like the app has arrived a day earlier! Grab Animoog today for 99 cents, as it’s a limited time offer price.

A nice feature of any camera is to have a timer. Especially if you and everyone else around you is expected to be in the photo, and the front face camera just doesn’t cut it.  Camera Timer from S4BB is a simple application bringing the timer feature to camera functionality.  Features include:

As you already know, BlackBerry has App Wednesdays going on where hand picked new applications in various categories are highlighted and distributed out as a promotion of awareness to see what’s out there.  This week’s is pretty nice as we see hit game Spiderman from Gameloft release officially.  The game has been around for quite sometime on other platforms such as iOS and Android, so it’s nice to see BlackBerry platform catch up on this one quick.  Lots more titles in the game, utilities categories and many more after the jump.

Another popular application from Bellshare has finally made its way to BlackBerry World for the Z10 – BeBuzz. For those who aren’t familiar with the application, BeBuzz offers custom notifications for all sorts of messages on your device on a very granular level. That means LED colors, custom vibrations, pop up messages and more. As it is a limitation by API, you have to keep the application open at all times for it to be active. Once this is open for development, a new update will be released. For the time being, head over to BlackBerry World and checkout BeBuzz 10 Pro.

Prior to the BlackBerry Z10 launch, it was rumored that the MLB At Bat annual application would continue on into the platform. Today it looks like MLB At Bat 14 has officially launched in BlackBerry World for the BlackBerry Z10. You can grab it for $19.99 but brings features such as live games, scores, recaps and more. Do you like Music? Do you like making your own beats? Are you an aspiring DJ? If you answered yes to any of these you may want to check out Groovy Beats by XLabz Technologies.
