An awesome sale is headed to T-Mobile!  TmoNews grabbed a screenshot showing that T-Mobile has a special offer coming on February 11th where new and current customers can get some popular smartphones free.  While browsing through the devices pictured, I noticed the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry Curve 9360 are both listed.  So if you were looking for that upgrade soon, it might be worth waiting until February 11th, the Bold 9900 obviously being the better choice.

The Jared Company let us know they put out their popular application called Message Prevue on sale for only 99 cents.  Message Prevue provides a way to view incoming messages without exiting the screen you are already on.  We can look at this like notifications on the iPhone where a pop up comes up rather than having to exit out completely and open up messages.  Features of Message Prevue include:

• When you receive an BBM, email or SMS, a small pop-up appears on your screen showing name of sender and subject line. Nothing to open, nothing to boot, nothing to lose. You remain connected.
• The information won’t clutter your screen because the pop up slowly fades after you’ve seen who’s reaching out. Read and *poof*. Gone.
• You never have to access your email folder to see who’s contacted you. Senders and subjects of incoming texts are right in front of you. Sweet.

• When you see the Message Prevue pop-up, click your trackball/pad or press the pop-up with your finger (for touch screen devices) to open your message folder for quick viewing of your incoming message(s).
• Stay on-line all the time. You’re searching the web and you get a text. In the past you had to log off and open your message folder to see who sent what. No more. Stay on the grid. Message Prevue shows the name of sender and subject line so you can stay on-line.
• Stay focused, returning important texts while skipping those that can wait.

The price doesn’t sound so worthy at $4.99 but when the app is marked originally for $9.99, it’s good savings.  Monopoly updated the other day to version 1.0.63 and along with that came a sale on the game which strangely appeared in App World from the BlackBerry PlayBook and not on the web store.  Not sure how long the sale is going on for, so grab a copy while supplies last!

Originally the sales were supposed to go on through February 4th, for those who recall.  This sale comes directly from RIM in the Shop BlackBerry Store where all three BlackBerry PlayBook models are $299 across the board.  The sale is now ending January 28, a few days earlier than expected for unknown reasons.  Any way, if you were planning on waiting until the end to pick one up, you should know the new date for the last day.
