The price doesn’t sound so worthy at $4.99 but when the app is marked originally for $9.99, it’s good savings.  Monopoly updated the other day to version 1.0.63 and along with that came a sale on the game which strangely appeared in App World from the BlackBerry PlayBook and not on the web store.  Not sure how long the sale is going on for, so grab a copy while supplies last!

We’ve seen great hockey applications for BlackBerry devices already.  RIM has a new campaign going off for the NHL which includes a promotion for five select players.

Originally the sales were supposed to go on through February 4th, for those who recall.  This sale comes directly from RIM in the Shop BlackBerry Store where all three BlackBerry PlayBook models are $299 across the board.  The sale is now ending January 28, a few days earlier than expected for unknown reasons.  Any way, if you were planning on waiting until the end to pick one up, you should know the new date for the last day.

We got the word from the developers that they will be putting out the newly released ProInsights for BlackBerry PlayBook 50% this weekend only, by request of many users interested in the application.  The original price is $9.99, which yes is a bit much to dish out for an application.  As a result by demand, you can grab a copy this weekend only for $4.99.

If you’re looking to pick up a 16GB, 32GB or 64GB BlackBerry PlayBook, Shop BlackBerry has them up for $299.99 across the board.  Not sure how long this will last, but that’s the first sale of 2012 I’ve spotted.  It was rumored that prices would hike back up to $499 after the new year, but it looks like sales tactics will still be in place.  Even with sales we saw last quarter, the 64GB never reached $299, but went for $399.  Obviously the 64GB is the bargain here, so head over and grab one for yourself!
