BlackBerry Traffic got a small update yesterday to version 3.0.1.21. In this update is a few bug fixes. I haven’t used the application thoroughly but apparently users were having issues where the guidance would stop out of nowhere. That issue has been resolved. Other bug fixes include BlackBerry calendar integration and a fix for Bluetooth not disengaging when audio on the app is muted. The update is available in BlackBerry App World.

The first 3D graphic game we experienced on the BlackBerry PlayBook was Need for Speed Undercover, which came free out of the box along with Tetris. For a while that’s all there was available as far as games with rich graphics go. Last night it got a small update to version 2.1, not sure if there is anything new here or some optimizations and bug fixes for the soon to be released PlayBook OS 2.0. Any way, Click the link below to download the update directly.

Another update to the BlackBerry PlayBook root DingleBerry is now available. Included in this update is a downgrader which brings your PlayBook OS to an earlier version that can be rooted. Also there’s Hulu support so you can watch Hulu videos on your PlayBook browser once again.
There doesn’t seem to be a root available for the latest OS RIM has out for the BlackBerry PlayBook, so a downgrade is the only way to go for now.

On Friday WhatsApp reported on Twitter that their BlackBerry application got a brand new updated with a new user interface. That was definitely much needed since the BlackBerry application lacked quality for a while, but did get the job done. It doesn’t seem to be available in BlackBerry App World yet and it might be beta since the OTA is coming from WhatApp’s beta URL. Either way, you can download it over the air using the link below. Let us know how you like it!
