Now I’m not an aftermarket theme kind of guy, but if  I wanted to use a one it would have to be a simple and responsive theme. One of which would not slow down the running of my BlackBerry which brings us to Oneliner. This is a 5.0 os theme which on the front screen looks like a command prompt. It takes all the items from the application list and shows one at a time on the home screen.

It’s been awhile but Hedone is back again rockin’ some more fashionable themes.  This one’s called Metalic for obvious reasons as you can see in the screenshot.  The best thing I like about the theme is that the home screen is really simple, sleek, and sexy if you ask me (whoa the three S words).  As you can’t see much on the home screen, when going to the app screen, you’ll be able to see all your accurate signal and battery meters.  Back to the home screen, you get six customizable icons along within the time and date above it to the right.  Hit the jump to check out features for each compatible device along with another screenshot to get a better idea of what to expect from Metalic.

I dont ride motorcycles, but for those of you who do, this is a brilliant theme.  As you can see the theme is all very customized as nothing has been brought back from the classic Precision theme besides the battery and service bar.  My personal favorite part of the theme is the call screen as it displays a garage with the caller info right on it.  All the icons are customized to match the whole Harley Davidson background along with its colors.  This theme is compatible with the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and the BlackBerry Tour 96xx and is absolutely FREE.  Special thanks to Jennifer over at Cool BlackBerry Themes for providing this theme.

HedoneDesign does it again! Everyone can use a fresh theme like BerryShell.  The background is very refreshing while the icons are all sleek and matching each other.  Having indicators both on the top and bottom is a real convenience and easy on the eyes where in other themes everything else is very much cluttered together.

Now here’s a theme with some nice options and widgets most haven’t seen implemented on a BlackBerry.  Before most of you get worried, this theme is for both touch screen and QWERTY BlackBerry smartphones.  Here’s a quick walk through for trackball/trackpad navigation:

• Theme Button 1 Up to Notifications Tab (tab will come down to show invisible button is highlighted) Then Click
• Scroll Down to get to messages on navigation screen
• Scroll Right from messages to get to calendar
• Scroll Down from messages/calendar to hidden today or Close notifications button (if no messages/events are displayed will go straight to close button)
• Scroll Down after clicking on Close to get to Theme button 6
• shift + A launches about screen
• shift + S launches google search
• shift + H hides google search
• shift + G shows google search
