Awesome feature shown off today by RIM at CES 2012. We already know OS 2.0 would be shown off a bit as it is expected to launch next month. However, we were unsure if RIM had anymore tricks up their sleeves and it turns out they did as we’re all shocked by this one. BlackBerry Bridge currently allows you to view native apps from your BlackBerry smartphone on your PlayBook (email, BBM, Calendar, etc). This new feature lets you use your BlackBerry smartphone as a mouse and keyboard for the BlackBerry PlayBook! Some of you are thinking why you would need this. Over all, it’s an awesome feature just to use, and if you like connecting your BlackBerry smartphone to your TV, then this will come handy.
The feature is expected to take off with OS 2.0 which is launching in February.

There’s no better way to explain this than classifying it as those “choose your own adventure” games where you pick what’s ahead in story. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 will go through an adventure as well, where you make choices which destine the next move. It’s all in a YouTube video, not sure how it’ll work on mobiles, but if your browsing on your desktop, you’ll be able to navigate through.

BlackBerry Malaysia has put out a series of videos where they ask folks in the community (seem to BlackBerry users) what their New Year’s resolutions are. They’re some fun and interesting video here and you see how dedicated to BlackBerry some of these users are which is a good thing. Don’t forget, BlackBerry is sponsoring New Year’s Eve this year in NYC! More videos after the jump.

Who remembers DJ Diplo in “Love What You Do” BlackBerry Torch 9800 commercial? Well that same clip has been changed as it’s not a BlackBerry Bold 9900 instead! Everything in the clip remains the same, except he says “Bold” instead of “Torch” and you see the Bold 9900 device zoomed in hands rather than the Torch 9800. It’s a great commercial either way, and RIM took a nice easy route on changing what the device is here.

Hey this commercial looks familiar doesn’t it? A few weeks ago we saw the same “Night Bikes” commercial, but was for the BlackBerry Curve 9350/9360/9370. This time around it’s the same exact commercial except a Bold 9900/9930 is the device being used instead. Slick.

So here’s an extended commercial for BlackBerry up in the Philippines. It’s based on two characters named Victor and Divine who seem to have a relationship problem, but square it off via BBM. It’s pretty creative and once again definitely a new style of marketing that we haven’t seen from RIM in commercials really. We’re too acquainted with the testimonials and professionals claiming why they need their BlackBerrys. This clip is part 1, so I’m guessing a sequel should arrive shortly. Video after the jump!

Sweet! We had the BlackBerry PlayBook come fresh out the box with Need For Speed Undercover for free. Now we see some inspiration went further as the new game Need for Speed The Run features the BlackBerry PlayBook in the car’s console. Good choice for a tablet I’d say. So it might not be the exact PlayBook, but surely looks just like it. What’s your take? Video after the jump.

Rooting the BlackBerry PlayBook and adding Android Market to it has been pretty trendy since the first Dingleberry root released. BerryReview spotted a cool video showing how it’s all done for those who need it done visually to implement it rather than read a list of instructions. The whole operation is a bit advanced, so if you decide to please do so at your own risk.
