BAKLight: Another Free Flashlight Application for BlackBerry

Don’t waste your money on flashlight applications for BlackBerry. There’s no need to pay for a function that comes stock on it! Utilities like these are handy, but should definitely be free in my opinion. So here’s BAKLight which is another way to get the best out of your BlackBerry flash, using it as a flashlight.
Features:

Settings:
Menu / Set Delay (Default 500)
Set longer* so as to activate the video camera light.
*Some devices running apps on the background may cause delays in triggering the the flash. Set at 1500 ...

Going Green – Fandango Presents Digital Barcode Movie Tickets

Way to go green Fandango! It looks like the company is going on a new strategy to get paperless with its ticketing system. Currently they are going through testing stages of barcodes (2D) as seen above in the picture within movie theaters rather than the traditional paper tickets. So how would this work? You get an email notification or log in to the website via mobile where the ticket checker person (whatever they’re called) would scan it off as you enter instead of having to tear up tickets for hours ...

(The easy way) I ...

Review: Astraware Casino for BlackBerry

What we have here is a nice little Casino game for BlackBerry. Not to get so much into all the birds and bees, you get to start off with a nice virtual $1000, play a while and end up a virtual $5000 overdrawn! Don’t worry you can reset the bank at anytime.
What do I think of the game? I really like it, however I found a few things which bugged me. When you press back key you exit the game rather then going back to title menu. After a week ...

Leaked: More BlackBerry Slider Images Showing Dimensions- Too Thick?

We never got to see the side view or what the guts look like from the back. I’m glad to see rubberized buttons, meaning this isn’t such an early prototype. Why oh why must it be so thick though? I understand it has slider capabilities with the keyboard and all but we’re in 2010. We have a paper thin iPad coming around the corner, you mean to tell me we can’t have a paper thin BlackBerry? Hit the jump to check out the sexy back.

Tour2 9650 Confirmed To Be The Official Bold 9650

That’s it. We officially have a very confusing series. The Bold family is just as confusing as the Curve family, only worse. So RIM doesn’t want to discourage current Tour users by calling it the Tour 9650, so they flip the name to the famous Bold to attract everyone. In reality, this 9650 is a Tour cosmetically and at heart. Nothing about it is Bold, and we are all unhappy about this new addition. The image above comes from a leaked user guide found over at CrackBerry for the BlackBerry ...
