Last week there was a tease that Endomondo would be having an announcement this week at BlackBerry Live. There’s tons of free features including tracking your distance, speed even calories when on the move. There are a few premium features as well too, which also remove in application advertisements. Check out more at BlackBerry World on Endomondo Sports Tracker.

BlackBerry Live in Orlando Florida has been full of great news, great energy, and great people. We have has some great speakers take the stage. One of the biggest surprises for me which was some what expected was the fact that Alicia Keys was one of the speakers at the Keynote. I knew she would be there but I thought it was just going to be for the performance at BlackBerry Live. However, to see her speak at the BlackBerry Live keynote was a real treat. Alicia Keys made some great announcements such as the next generation of the Keep Moving Project would be launching in the fall, and that BlackBerry Scholars Program would kick off this next school, and was put in place to help young women all across the world get the education they need to succeed in the tech field. Alicia Keys is very committed to getting women involved in tech.

We went hands on with it today and took a bunch of awesome pictures! Hit the jump for the full gallery.
A new sideload of Instagram just surfaced today. According to BBEmpire, the version is 3.4.4 and runs much smoother than the previous leak we had. Also, no workarounds are needed as far as logging it which is definitely a plus for those who install leaked OS builds and have to sideload all their favorite android applications again. As promised in previous App Wednesdays, Modern Combat 4 has made its debut to the BlackBerry Z10 yesterday. We’ve seen Modern Combat 3 release for the PlayBook in the past, so it’s good seeing the next sequels releasing from Gameloft. Modern Combat 4 includes real rich graphics and awesome action in a war environment. It’s 99 cents to buy and only on the Z10 right now. Not sure how well the game would work on the smaller resolution Q10.

Union has made their hit game Samurai II available for the BlackBerry Z10. This originally launched on the BlackBerry PlayBook, which was a pretty popular game once it kicked off. Good news – if you already purchased it on the PlayBook, you do not need to re-purchase the game on the Z10 so feel free to download it. Definitely a huge praise for these kinds of games and apps that were on the PlayBook and owners get to keep it moving forward to other hardware. For those who are new to Samurai II, check it out for 99 cents at BlackBerry World.
