Just because the Storm2 is in town, the original older Storm needs some lovin’ and OS updatin’ too.  The BlackBerry Storm 9500 got an OS update today, unofficially of course, bringing up to 5.0.0.402.  Since it is unofficial, download and install at your own risk.  If you do decide to, drop us a line and let us know of any changes you see in this version.  Enjoy.

When we first saw this theme, we thought for a quick second that the game was actually being played on the device as all the icons, colors, and general themes are all very accurate in relation to the game.  To download this theme, click the OTA link found below.  This theme is only for the Blackberry Storm 9500 and BlackBerry Storm 9530.  Unfortunately it is not released for the Bold or Curve yet.  Special thanks to xxpantheonxx for this great theme!

Having that functionality on the Storm comes really handy and as you can see in the video clip, it moves around really easy and conveniently.  Let’s keep on the lookout for the OS download links to appear everywhere!

It is currently not out yet, but this being on your Storm will beat any iPhone out there.  If you’re familiar with Unify4Life (WES last year exemplified it), then you can imagine what the touch screen version of it can do.  Here’s a video sneak peak of it.  Enjoy.

It’s been out for quite awhile, but I thought it was necessary as a friendly reminder to inform everyone about the YouTube application that hasn’t been so much advertised online lately.  It is currently only for the BlackBerry Storm 95xx for now, but is in the making for other devices.  It becomes annoying have to go to the YouTube URL everytime you want to stream a clip.  Why not open an application instead just like the iPhone?  Thats where this application comes in handy.  The platform is really smooth and easy to use at your convenience.

Here’s a fun little application for you BlackBerry Storm users.  There is no actual use for this program, but it’s a fun “iPhone-ish” application which virtually cleans your screen.  So forget wiping your screen with a cloth, digitally do it with this application (not really but you get the idea).  It is absolutely free for download.

It does exactly what it’s called: it will test the speeds of your BlackBerry Storm and tell you how fast each individual connection is at highest and lowest peaks.  Hopefully they release this for other BlackBerry phones as well.
