The long lost and forgotten original BlackBerry Storm 9530 just got an OS leak.  This one is 5.0.0.1041, catching up with a lot of other devices still carrying 5.0 as their latest and greatest.  Updates are going to continue rolling out for the Storm a little while longer regardless of how little we do see them around.  But for those of you who do have a Storm, you might want to check this OS out as it might work more stable than what you already have.

Surprisingly, we’re still seeing leaks surface for the original first generation BlackBerry Storm 9530.  A little while ago, we saw 5.0.0.871, and now a newer 5.0.0.973 has leaked out.  This one is unofficial so download and install at your own risk.

Having that functionality on the Storm comes really handy and as you can see in the video clip, it moves around really easy and conveniently.  Let’s keep on the lookout for the OS download links to appear everywhere!

It is currently not out yet, but this being on your Storm will beat any iPhone out there.  If you’re familiar with Unify4Life (WES last year exemplified it), then you can imagine what the touch screen version of it can do.  Here’s a video sneak peak of it.  Enjoy.

Check out this cool theme for the BlackBerry Storm based on the famous Wolverine, which we can’t wait to see in theaters this May.  The images used in this theme were chosen wisely as they are all from different generations and artists of Wolverine.  The theme runs real smooth on OS .99+ and we definitely can all agree it looks good (if your a fan that is).  OTA link available below.
