The wait isn’t over just yet, but RIM co-CEO just teased us about Angry Birds coming to the BlackBerry PlayBook. We’re wondering if this will be through Android Player, or created specifically for the PlayBook itself. We’re really excited to see Angry Birds come to life for BlackBerry, and hopefully smartphones someday too.

Angry Farm for BlackBerry has once again gone through an update. It looks like this version also has bug fixes and improved performances as the last one. It’s still not perfect yet, but I’m sure there’s only so much they can do with the BlackBerry to make it run as fluid as Angry Birds does on iOS or Android.
Angry Farm is a BlackBerry version (knock-off) of Angry Birds, which is what we’ve been craving since the game launched. You can purchase Angry Farm for only $4.99 from the PocketBerry Store.

Angry Farm, the BlackBerry knock off of Angry Birds got an update a few days ago. For those who purchased the game, it was safe to say that game play was a bit sluggish and didn’t operate as smoothly. The update brings it to version 1.1.0 with the following change log:
- Faster loading of levels
- Smoother gameplay
- 10 new levels of farm-based destruction

So Chillingo says nothing about Angry Birds coming to BlackBerry, but pursues to other platforms like Windows Mobile 7. Fine. We’re not going to beg for it forever, but BlackBerry game developers have realized how bad we want Angry Birds, so they present Angry Farm. Angry Farm is pretty much like Angry Birds, but evolves all around a farm. Just like Angry Birds, Angry Farm brings you different animals (instead of birds) that have a specialty:
- Angry goat flies through the air slamming into foxes and causing hay bales and wooden farm structures to explode.
- Angry pig bounces like a super ball of furious rubberized pork demolishing foxes and their hiding places.
- Angry cow flies through the air and accelerates to attacking speed when you click the trackpad or touchscreen while the angry cow is in flight.
- Angry hen is a bird full of bad bird attitude. So full of bad bird attitude that angry hen splits into three angry bird projectiles when you click the trackpad or touchscreen while the angry hen is in the air.

Sorry guys but it’s just a joke. Should of save it for April Fools. The Business Insider posted this up just for comic relief and we couldn’t pass up sharing it with you guys. It would be pretty darn exciting to have Angry Birds for BlackBerry. The idea doesn’t seem so far fetched, but you’ll definitely need a touch screen BlackBerry if the time ever comes in my opinion. We ran a little poll a few weeks ago asking readers if they would like to see Angry Birds come to life for BlackBerry, and about 72% of the voters said yes while 3.5% said no, 18.6% don’t game on BlackBerry, and 5.81% did not know what Angry Birds was. Maybe the game creators will cater it out if the hype for it continues to grow.

One thing I love about my iPad besides web browsing, eBooks, and Netflix is Angry Birds. Not all games, but in specific Angry Birds. It’s a very addictive game that was exclusively for the iPhone and iPad but the latest from the wire suggests that the game is coming in beta to Android soon. So maybe not all BlackBerry smartphones can handle a game like Angry Birds, but I strongly believe the Storm 2 (whatever Storm is coming next also) and the BlackBerry Torch 9800 would handle it well obviously for the touch screen luxury. I think the demand for it is quite high as Kevin suggested it as a game BlackBerry users wish they had and there have been mentions of whether or not a BlackBerry version should come. It isn’t a rare occasion either to see iPhone games come to BlackBerry as it happened already several times in the past with games including Zombie Attack, Cliffed, and Escape.
