9930_non_cam

Don’t forget that BlackBerry smartphones are great for corporates.  The original BlackBerry didn’t have a camera as it was targeted towards business users who favored email.  Also some corporate environments do not permit phones with cameras inside conferences rooms for security purposes.  Any way, Sprint is launching the BlackBerry Bold 9930 with no camera on September 9th.  It is being priced at $249.99.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 series is the best of both worlds when it comes to choosing your next device.  It gives you both touchscreen and fully QWERTY in the form factor many prefer which eliminates sliding (like the Torch) and provides a very slim body.  A new commercial for the Bold 9900/9930 has popped up on the BlackBerry YouTube channel called “Harmony.” In this 30 second clip you get to see how touchscreen combined with the full QWERTY keyboard and trackpad work great together in messaging and multimedia.  The BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 is currently available in the US for Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile on August 31st.  It’s out for a handful of carriers in Canada and other countries abroad.

It’s been a while since we let you know about new BlackBerry devices hitting our phone store, especially since there hasn’t been much action when it comes to new devices launching in a very long time.  Currently at the PocketBerry Phone Store, we are offering the BlackBerry Bold 9930 for both Verizon and Sprint for $199 on a two year contract.  No need to fill out rebate forms to get anything back – pay the bottom line price from the get go and be worry free.

Whether you’re opening a new contract or upgrading, the price remains the same.  Check out the BlackBerry Bold 9930 using the links below.

Yesterday the BlackBerry Bold 9930 got a leaked OS to 7.0.0.317, and now today 7.0.0.340 has made its way available (not officially).  In this build, you get NFC up on the Verizon 9930 and perhaps other CDMA 9930′s as well.  This OS also includes updates for BlackBerry Protect, Docs2Go, and BlackBerry Podcasts app.  Download and install at your own risk as this is leaked.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 is floating around with various carriers at the moment.  It’s been a nice week seeing that Verizon Wireless in the United States picked up the Bold 9930 officially.  To go hand in hand with that, you can grab the leaked OS for it as well.  Here’s OS 7.0.0.308 for the BlackBerry Bold 9930, as it ships out with .254, and usually out of the box OS builds are buggy any way.

Sprint has come out the closet and announced the launch of two new BlackBerry devices coming officially on August 21st – the BlackBerry Bold 9930 and Torch 9850.  Verizon launched the Bold 9930 today officially online, with availability in stores on August 25th.  It looks like Sprint will be launching the devices in stores and online on the same date.  As for pricing, the Bold 9930 gets $249 with a 2 year contract and the Torch 9850 for $149 with a $50 mail-in rebate.  Of course the Bold 9930 is the better device as it’s equipped with NFC while the Torch lacks it.

Over the weekend, we let you know that Verizon was packing the BlackBerry Bold 9930 for an early launch date of August 15th.  The day has finally come and the carrier has come through with the release date.  The Bold 9930 is offered from Verizon now officially for only $249.99 on a 2 year contract and $509.99 with no strings attached.  You know all about the device by now and this is the first US carrier to launch it surprisingly.  Remember, it’s only available online until the 25th where it’s hitting all stores.
