The BlackBerry Curve 9360 is one of RIM’s latest BlackBerry 7 devices. The BlackBerry Curve 9360 is definitely one of the lightest, and thinnest BlackBerry devices that is on the market. I must say when I first saw this device it looked very basic and plain. Being part of the Curve family, I
figured that it would be very basic device, that only the entry level user would enjoy. After using the device for a couple weeks I was quickly sold that it is a great device for all BlackBerry users, from the entry level user to the high end abuser.  Want to learn more then keep reading.

Out of the box the BlackBerry 9360 Curve comes with of course the device, charger, usb cable, battery, and headset.  So it comes with the essentials like other devices.  Now unlike the Curve 8520, and 9300 the 9360 comes with a flash on a 5MP camera. (The other devices come with 2 or 3.2 MP cameras and no flash) For me this was an instant win. Flash comes in handy on cameras when taking pictures in darker settings, or in lower light.  Another win for the BlackBerry Curve 9360 it is loaded with BlackBerry 7 OS, which builds on previous success of previous OS with some new improvements.

tmo valentines day sale

An awesome sale is headed to T-Mobile!  TmoNews grabbed a screenshot showing that T-Mobile has a special offer coming on February 11th where new and current customers can get some popular smartphones free.  While browsing through the devices pictured, I noticed the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry Curve 9360 are both listed.  So if you were looking for that upgrade soon, it might be worth waiting until February 11th, the Bold 9900 obviously being the better choice.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 has joined in on the OS 7.1 leakage which we saw go on since last week.  It looks like the Curve 9360 gets the same version as the rest- 7.1.0.190.  And yes, it does support Mobile Hotspot!  Again it is not official, so if you decide to download it, do so at your own risk!

fido curve 9360

Fido in Canada is known to carry BlackBerry smartphones way later after the device launches from the manufacturer.  This time around we’re surprised to see that the company has stepped up their game and launched the BlackBerry Curve 9360.  Ok so it’s a basic lower end BlackBerry smartphone, but is still a great device and carries a feature some other OS 7 devices don’t- NFC.  The BlackBerry Curve 9360 gets OS 7 preloaded, 800MHz, 5MP camera, 480 x 360 screen resolution with 3G and WiFi capability.  Fido is selling the device for only $30 on a 3 year contract.

The all new BlackBerry Curve 9350/9360/9370 are finally shown off in a commercial.  This one’s pretty cool as it’s not your average “Love What You Do” style clip where you see the local shop owner or drag car racer use a BlackBerry in his or her line of work.  Catch the clip and let us know what you think!
