Finally we see the all touchscreen Curve live! Before they were rendered images, and for the first time we see what the device actually looks like. The BlackBerry Curve 9380 shares some of the same cosmetics as the Torch 9850 and 9860. The backside looks very typical of Curve so that remains to be signature. The front is all touchscreen with a trackpad and typical button layout to its left and right ( call button, BlackBerry menu button, back, end call button).

So I guess that’s what the BlackBerry Curve Touch is. At one point, the Curve Touch was a confusing device where we didn’t really know what to expect from it. Some even said it would be a full on touchscreen device only, and that didn’t seem to make much sense. So the BlackBerry Curve Touch holds the codename “Orlando” for the time being, and doesn’t look so bad.
N4BB who leaked out the image made a good point that the Orlando was not mentioned in the leaked roadmap. Also, there’s not telling if this will get the full on OS 6.1, or the Lite edition we saw for the Sedona.

Another nice tip/rumor over at BGR we saw along with the Monaco/Monza photos is that we’ll hopefully be seeing some nice BlackBerry devices announced at BlackBerry World in May. The devices rumored to be announced by RIM are the BlackBerry Bold Touch, Curve Touch, Monaco/Monza, and Torch 2. That’s a lot more than what we had last year at WES 2010, as we really only saw the Pearl 3G and the Bold 9650.
It makes sense to me if RIM decides to unveil all these devices officially – just seems like an appropriate time to do so especially with all the leaks we’ve seen on all devices over the last few months. Which device are you excited to see?

So here’s the last bit of it – the 2011 roadmap for BlackBerry smartphones released in 2011. I don’t know where to start here, there’s all sorts of excitement packed this year, starting with the PlayBook we’ve been amping about since DEVCON 2010. There’s quite a few goodies here including the Curve Touch, Monaco Touch, Bold Touch, and Sedona. Hit the jump to check out all the slides.

Better known as the BlackBerry codename “Malibu,” it will most likely launch with the name BlackBerry Curve Touch according to CrackBerry who received the leaked image above along with specs. It’s going to be CDMA, so it’s definitely a good answer for those waiting for the the BlackBerry Storm 3. Here are the specs:
- Processor: Qualcomm MSM 8655 800MHz CPU
- Radio: CDMA – EvDo Rev A
- Display: 3.25″ 480×360 HVGA
- Navigation: Trackpad & Nav Keys
- Keypad: Virtual QWERTY
- Camera: 5 MP (with HD Video recording)
- Memory: 1GB Flash + 512MB RAM, Hot Swap MicroSD slot
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- GPS: Autonomous & A-GPS
- Connectivity: NFC, Micro USB, Bluetooth 2.1
- Sensors: Ambient Light Sensor, accelerometer
The bad news? It’s going to be releasing late 2011, early 2012. On the brighter side, I can imagine that the Curve Touch could hit GSM also, so maybe that’s in the making behind the scenes as well. It’s not sporting the highest specs here versus what we’ve seen as far as higher resolutions go for 2011′s roadmap of BlackBerrys, but it calls for an interesting keyboard-less entry level Curve with touchscreen capability and trackpad.
