Foursquare for BlackBerry just received an update today to version 3.9 today adding new features including NFC support!  It’s definitely nice to see applications pick up on NFC, especially since we couldn’t use the feature from launch.  With NFC, you can share venues and tips with other users.  Also, the update includes integration with the Messages list, so you won’t need to go into the application each time for friend updates.  The update is available at BlackBerry App World.  Click the link below to download or to check out more info on Foursquare.

Over the last few months, we have been seeing quite a few updates for Foursquare for BlackBerry.  The changes have been pretty consistent and add new features including face lifts and new features.  This time around Foursquare for BlackBerry gets another update.  In version 3.8, we now have better GPS support for those on CDMA carriers – that’s you Verizon and Sprint users.  In addition, the “Me” screen gets a new user interface as well according to the change log.  Click the link below to download Foursquare for BlackBerry from BlackBerry App World.

Foursquare for BlackBerry has updated today to version 3.5.1.  I know, not a huge jump up, but there is a change log outlining what’s new!  In this version, we see the changes consisting of mainly fixes and minor changes. Here’s what’s new:

• Fix to venue screen “switch focus” issue when transitioning from partial to full load of the venue and its details.
• Fix to list/delete specific to user adding and quickly deleting a list.
• Update to list items styling so the background is consistently light grey rather than white.
• Improved performance on friend management screen when there exists 100+ friend requests.
• Fix scroll issue with venue history list.
• And lots more quick fixes.

Foursquare for BlackBerry just updated to version 3.5.  Included in this version is the lists feature which lets you discover and make lists of things to do nearby.  Also in-line photos have been added so now you can see your friends checkins with a photo attached too.  In the change log we see that the GPS logic has been updated and connection support “for a range of devices” has been improved.  The update is available in BlackBerry App World to download.

Foursquare for BlackBerry just got a small update to version 3.4.2 today.  The change log reads that it’s a “quick fix to the post check-in screen allowing proper  support for third part specials by displaying the special source and branding.”  So not a huge jump but more of a big fix for the app.  The update is available in BlackBerry App World to download.  Enjoy.

Foursquare for BlackBerry just got an update today to version 3.4.1. Included in this version is Events, GPS update, ability to share tips via BBM status, and “lots of fixes and improvements to battery life.” Click the link below to download the update.

A new alpha build of Foursquare for BlackBerry is now available for public download.  According to N4BB, BBM integration doesn’t work here and says it’s expired with this version.  So if you love having your check-ins update to your BBM status, then don’t try this one out.  For those who do, let us know of any changes you see.

Foursquare for BlackBerry just got an update to version 3.3.  In this update we see a new icon emerge.  We’ve had the same one for quite a while and change is always good.  Also we see a notifications tab which is the Foursquare logo on the upper left hand corner.  You can see how many new ones are available as you’ll get a small pop up.  N4BB scored a full change log showing all the new features and fixes:

• Notification Tray – Just click on the Foursquare logo and see if you earned a new badge, who has commented on your checkin and so much more
• Continued improvements to GPS and location support
• Updated setting and account management
• Improved reporting for support issues

Foursquare for BlackBerry has a new alpha release up on their site.  Over the last few months, the biggest improvements we’ve seen with the Foursquare app is major user interface enhancements and of course BBM 6 integration.  Here’s the change log for the alpha release v3.2.8:

• Notification tray – Just click on the “foursquare” logo when logged in and quickly see notifications specific to your: todo’s, comments, friend requests and more!
• Improvements to GPS/Location support.
• Improved battery life/performance.

Foursquare for BlackBerry just updated, as we’ve been getting a lot of exciting editions with application lately including BBM integrations and UI changes.  Here’s the full change log for version 3.2.1:

• Improved handling and performance with connections to all terminals BBM
